WorkoutBrain ("we", "our", "us") is a brain-training app. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process, why we process it, and your choices.

1. Data We Process

We process the following categories of data:

On-device app data (stored locally on your device)

  • Onboarding completion state
  • App preferences (language, sound, haptics)
  • Privacy choices (analytics enabled, ads personalization enabled)
  • Profile data you enter in-app (display name, daily goal, profile creation date)
  • Gameplay and progress data (sessions, scores, streaks, timestamps, game metadata)

Account and cloud record data

  • A Firebase Authentication identifier (typically an anonymous user ID)
  • A minimal user record in cloud database with fields such as:
  • is_guest

Diagnostics and analytics data (with your consent)

  • App events, usage interactions, device/app context
  • Crash and error diagnostics

Advertising-related data (when ads are enabled)

  • Ad request and delivery data handled by Google AdMob
  • Advertising identifiers may be used by AdMob according to Google policies and your device/account settings

We do not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or health/biometric data for core app use.

2. Why We Process Data

We process data to:

  • Provide core gameplay and progress features
  • Save your preferences and profile choices
  • Keep your app session working across app restarts
  • Understand usage patterns and improve features (when analytics is enabled)
  • Detect, prevent, and fix crashes and technical issues
  • Serve ads where applicable

Where required by law, we rely on your consent for analytics, crash reporting linkage, and ad-related personalization controls.

You can change privacy settings in-app at any time:

  • Toggle analytics collection

4. Third-Party Services

We use these processors/service providers:

We do not sell personal data.

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the app (for example, Firebase and AdMob), and only to the extent needed for app functionality, diagnostics, analytics, and ad delivery.

  • Cloud account record data: retained while needed to provide app functionality and operational integrity.
